KIEV, Jan. 8 – The fire that broke out at PJSC Hartron plant in Kharkiv on Wednesday has not affected the production process of the enterprise, the State Space Agency of Ukraine said.
"The fire occurred in the premises leased from PJSC Hartron by Kharkiv Jewelry Factory. The accident did not affect the [plant's] production work. No employees of PJSC Hartron were hurt as a result of the fire," the agency's interlocutor said.
Eight people were killed in a fire that broke out at around 1130 on Wednesday in a five-story industrial building on the territory of the Hartron plant in Kharkiv. Twenty-two people were rescued. According to the State Service on Emergency Situations, the fire was extinguished at 1410.
