KIEV, Dec. 30 - Gazprom will most likely reduce its natural gas prices on supplies to Ukraine after January 10, Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boyko said Monday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed on December 17 to lower by 33% prices of natural gas to $268.5 per 1,000 cubic meters in Q1, 2014, down from about $402/1,000 cu m on average in 2013.
Gazprom and Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national energy company, will meet between January 5 and January 10 to decide on a special index for officially lowering the gas price, Boyko said.
