KIEV, Dec. 24 – Fares for public transport of Kiev are most likely to rise starting February 1, 2014, Anatoliy Holubchenko, acting head of Kiev City State Administration reported.

He said at a press conference on Tuesday that public hearings regarding this issue have been scheduled.

"After this the decision will be taken. Apparently, nobody will introduce [new fare] on January 25. If everything is good, then from February 1," Holubchenko said.
