KIEV, Dec. 24 – Public sector employees in Kiev and those of the Kyivpastrans enterprise will not receive salaries for the past two months, as the work of Kiev City Council is blocked, the council's secretary, Halyna Hereha, has said.

At a briefing on Tuesday after the closing of the city council's session, she said that more than UAH 200 million of additional subventions from the state budget would not be used until the end of the year, since the city council was unable to make relevant amendments to the city's budget.
