KIEV, Dec. 11 – Ukraine's gross domestic product in the third quarter of 2013 shrank by 1.3% compared with the third quarter of 2012, which corresponds to the pace of the decline in the second quarter of this year, the State Statistics Service reported on Tuesday.

In late October, the service preliminarily estimated the decline in GDP in July-September 2013 at 1.5%.

According to new figures, compared with the second quarter of 2013, taking into account seasonal factors, GDP in the third quarter of 2013 shrank by 0.3%, whereas the service initially estimated the decline at 0.4%.
