KIEV, Nov. 23 ??“ Ukraine will accelerate diplomacy within regional groups such as GUAM aimed at promoting democracy and solving some of the most complicated ethnic conflicts in the area, President Viktor Yushchenko said Wednesday.

Yushchenko, speaking in Tbilisi at an anniversary of the Rose Revolution, a non-violent uprising that toppled the regime of Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze two years ago, said the two countries will cooperate.
