KIEV, Nov. 29 – The State Inspectorate for Consumer Rights Protection has sent a proposal to the central offices of the 12 largest global producers of electrical household appliances on conducting joint inspections of the Ukrainian electrical household appliances market to ferret out counterfeit goods.

"Yesterday the inspectorate via the Foreign Ministry sent official letters to the producers of goods of famous brands with a proposal to delegate experts from head offices, as the inaction of representative offices of the said companies in Ukraine, which do not present documents on the country-producer is alarming," Inspectorate Head Serhiy Orekhov said at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.

He said that the inaction of Ukrainian representative offices of global companies shows that they are colluding with shady businessmen.
