KIEV, Nov. 27 - Ukraine received approval from Slovakia to begin imports of European natural gas via its gas transportation pipelines, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytskiy said Wednesday.

Ukraine successfully tested the Slovakian route in May, but had failed to start gas imports ever since as Slovakia had refused to cooperate, Stavytskiy said.
