KIEV, Nov. 19 – Some large producers of PVC window frames have asked the Ukrainian authorities to reject a draft law on the import duty of 0-6.5% on polyvinylchloride (PVC), as the cash cost of PVC window frames and the price of imported PVC window frames could grow, while Karpatnaftokhim LLC (Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region), which is part of Russia's Lukoil, could become a monopolist on the market.

Representatives of companies with foreign investment Veka Rus & Ukraine, Aluplast Ukraine, Mayado Ukraine, Profine Ukraine and Miroplast and representatives of the All-Ukrainian Union of Producers of Construction Materials and Goods delivered the address.
