KIEV, Nov. 15 – Ukraine resumed imports of Russian natural gas on Friday following days of intensive negotiations with Gazprom, which had raised serious concerns over the stability of European gas supplies in the winter.

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, following a phone call on Friday, pledged to ensure uninterrupted European gas shipments.
