KIEV, Nov. 14 – Crimea, using solar and wind energy, 2013 generated 285.7 million kWh of electricity in January-September, accounting for 26% of total generation, the Crimean republican committee for fuel, energy and innovation policy has said.

According to the committee, over the period solar power plants produced 251.2 million kWh, wind plants – 34.6 million kWh, together covering 6.6% of the total consumption of the Crimean peninsula.
