KIEV, Nov. 8 - Ukraine will be able to deliver 2 million tons of corn to China before year-end under its loan agreements with Beijing, Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Of course we will meet the terms, even though the weather delayed the grain harvest, particularly the corn harvest, by somewhere around three weeks," he said.
Ukraine is committed to delivering 2 million tons of corn before the end of 2013 and another 2 million tons in the first seven months of 2014. It has already exported 1.1 million tons.
