KIEV, Nov. 7 - State Agency for Investment and National Project Management head Vladyslav Kaskiv and Eric Bleich, chief the U.S. Agency for International Development AgroInvest, have signed a protocol of intent on the implementation of the Green Markets National Project.

"This national project will allow there to be a considerable, perhaps by several times, increase in the efficiency of the management of food resources and the profitability of agricultural products production thanks to the creation of a chain of markets and uniting them into a single logistics scheme, it's similar to a food exchange, which will allow trading with large wholesale batches and sticking to high quality standards," Kaskiv said after the signing of the protocol as a part of the regional meeting of the World Economic Forum in Kiev on Wednesday, November 6.
