KIEV, Oct. 29 – Kiev Prosecutor's Office has launched criminal proceedings at the request of UDAR Party MP Oksana Prodan concerning the introduction of amendments to the Tax Code affecting the UDAR Party and its leader, Vitali Klitschko, and the possible forgery of comparative tables, the press service of the prosecutor's office reported on Tuesday.

The information contained in Prodan's statement has been included in the unified register of pre-trial investigations. Criminal proceedings were launched under Part 1, Article 351 (creating artificial barriers to the work of people's deputies, providing them with deliberately misleading information) and Part 3, Article 358 (the forgery of official documents).
