KIEV, Oct. 29 - Sumykhimprom, one of the leading enterprises of the chemical industry in Ukraine, on October 25 resumed the production of titanium dioxide and complex mineral fertilizers, the company announced.
"We have gradually resumed the production of mineral fertilizers and pigments, sulfuric acid production. Currently the company is provided with the necessary raw materials, and a package of orders for the near future has been formed," the press service said citing reorganization manager Ihor Lazakovych.
Sumykhimprom noted that the production of mineral fertilizers was stopped on October 1 in connection with the unfavorable situation on the world market. The production of titanium dioxide had also to be halted because it is technologically linked to the production of fertilizers.
