KIEV, Oct. 28 - Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear power plant has finished loading 66 Westinghouse fuel assemblies and 97 TVEL fuel assemblies during the scheduled maintenance at reactor three of the plant.

The plant said that the loading of the reactor core was finished on October 20.

The plant said that scrupulous tests of the fuel assemblies preceded the approval of the loading of Westinghouse fuel rods into the reactor. National Nuclear Generating Company EnergoAtom bought a specialized inspection stand to check Westinghouse fuel rods.
