MOSCOW, Nov. 17 ??“ The Russian chain of Paterson department stores plans to open 113 supermarkets in Russia and Ukraine in 2006-2009 (not including franchised stores), the company's director for public relations, Nadezhda Seniuk, said at a conference on Russia's food industry organized by the Adam Smith Institute in Moscow on Monday.

By 2010, according to her, Paterson will have 170 supermarkets - 14 in Samara and Togliatti, 10 in Chelyabinsk, eight in Kazan and 20 in Ukraine.
