KIEV, Oct. 17 – The European Union plans to allocate EUR 186 million in technical assistance to Ukraine by the end of 2013.
The funds are intended for five-year projects of EU technical assistance in Ukraine, Head of the EU cooperation programs in Ukraine Andrew Rasbash said at a briefing on Thursday.
He said that a final decision on this matter would be taken in November. The areas of funding under the technical assistance will be: environment protection, the elimination of technical barriers in trade, as well as regional development.
