KALUGA, Oct. 15 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has called on Russia to make use of all of the opportunities granted by the Free Trade Area in the context of Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as develop Ukrainian-Russian bilateral cooperation.
"For the last three years we've managed to create an FTA in the framework of the CIS, which we failed to create for 20 years. You three countries made progress in the frames of economic integration in creating the Customs Union. Ukraine didn't participate in this process, and now we're considering and studying this issue. We aren't ready yet to give any definite opinion, but let's make use of the possibilities that the agreement on FTA has now provided us with," Azarov said during the meeting of the Committee on Economic Cooperation of the Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission in Kaluga on Tuesday.
