KALUGA, Oct. 15 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov says he wouldn't want the Association Agreement with the European Union to create obstacles to developing relations between Ukraine and Customs Union member countries, namely Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
"I wouldn't like that signing the Agreement would weaken or create obstacles to the development of relations between Ukraine and the Customs Union," he said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in Kaluga on Tuesday.
Azarov noted that the creation of a free trade area between Ukraine and the EU brings Ukraine both threats and opportunities.
