KIEV, Oct. 14 – Participants of a meeting of the subcommission for cooperation in the aviation industry of the committee of economic cooperation of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission have confirmed the plans of the sides to create a joint venture for the production of modernized An-124-100 150 tonne-capacity Ruslan heavy transport aircraft, the Industrial Policy Ministry reported.
The ministry said that at the meeting the sides agreed to continue work on the creation of the JV to realize a program on the resumption of the mass production of An-124 family aircraft with D-18T engines, and the modernization, post-sales servicing and support in exploitation of these aircraft.
