KIEV, Oct. 11 – Parliament plans to permit the payment of the debt of the national budget to local budgets in the difference in tariffs on heat, water supply and sewage accumulated in 2013 using promissory notes.

A total of 234 out of 393 lawmakers registered in the session hall supported at first reading the government's draft law.

According to the explanatory note to the draft, today Ukrainian law allows the cabinet to pay the debt for the difference in the tariffs using promissory notes only in the volume formed as of January 1, 2013. There is no possibility of paying for debts accumulated in 2013.
