KIEV, Oct. 10 - Power generation by all nuclear power plants run by EnergoAtom fell by 6.9% or by 4,523 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) year-over-year in January-September 2013, to 61.371 billion kWh, the company told Interfax-Ukraine.

This was 0.3% above the target.

The reduction of electricity generation is mainly linked to the fact that reactors were idling on forced standby or under maintenance due to transmission restrictions.
