KIEV, Oct. 8 – President Viktor Yanukovych and Kang Chang-hee, speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea have discussed the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

"I'm confident that your visit will help deepen bilateral relations," Yanukovych said at a meeting with the Korean speaker in Kiev on Tuesday.

The president said the development of cooperation with the countries of East Asia is an important component of the foreign policy of Ukraine.
