KIEV, Oct. 4 - More than 40% of Ukrainians would vote for Ukraine's accession to the European Union if a referendum on the country's accession to the EU or the Customs Union were held this Sunday, according to a survey conducted by Kiev International Institute of Sociology.
According to the survey, 40.5% of Ukrainians aged 18 or over would vote at a referendum for accession to the EU, whereas 35% of Ukrainian citizens would vote for accession to the Customs Union. At the same time, 13.4% of respondents were undecided, 1.1% refused to answer the question, and 10% of those polled would not participate in the referendum.
