KIEV, Sept. 30 – Ukraine as of September 30 had sown 2.38 million hectares with winter grains, which is 29% of the target, according to the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry.
As it said, Ukraine sowed 2.2 million hectares with wheat and triticale (32% of the forecast), 133,000 hectares with rye (45%), and 74,000 hectares with winter barley (6%).
Moreover, winter rapeseeds was sown on 815,000 hectares, or 88% of planned areas.
