KIEV, Sept. 17 – Ukraine has started licensing the next generation TVSA-12 nuclear fuel made by Russia's TVEL company, said Mykhailo Hashev, the senior inspector of the State Inspectorate for Nuclear Regulation.

He said that the first test batch of TVSA-12 nuclear fuel could be loaded into reactor four of Rivne nuclear power plant in December 2014 or January 2015.
