KIEV, Sept. 13 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has upgraded its forecast for sunflower oil production in Ukraine in the 2013/2014 agricultural year (September – August) by 312,000 tons or 7% compared to its August assessment, to 4.515 million tons, reads a posting on the USDA Web site.

The report says that the forecast for sunflower oil exports was improved from 3.68 million tons to 3.9 million tons.

The forecast for the sunflower harvest in Ukraine for the current season is 1.1 million tons more than the August assessment, at 11.5 million tons.
