THE HAGUE, Sept. 12 – Ukraine is interested in using United States technology for extracting gas from depleted fields, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

"Of course, we are interested in this technology and I am sure that our fields will be highly effective," the premier's spokesman, Vitaliy Lukyanenko, cited Azarov as saying following a meeting with Upstream International Director at Royal Dutch Shell Andy Brown in The Hague on Thursday.
