KIEV, Sept. 6 – The government plans in the near future to prepare the necessary documents, according to which after sending an old car for recycling Ukrainian citizens will be able to receive compensation of about UAH 12,000 for the purchase of a new, Ukrainian-made car, Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boiko said.

"We will follow the way the United States and Russia went – we will subsidize. Relevant documents will be soon prepared. If a person sends an old car for recycling, he gets a certificate and can buy a new car of the national production at a lower price. This is about UAH 12,000, which is about a seventh of the cost of a new car," he said on TV Channel Five.
