KIEV, Nov. 11 ??“ Perekrestok, a leading Russian supermarket chain which entered the Ukrainian market in April through the purchase of five Spar Ukraine supermarkets, sees no need to buy large trade chains in Ukraine now.

"Every month we get one or two merger or takeover offers. Our priority is small and medium-sized chains and our own development," Chairman of Perekrestok-Ukraine's Board Oleksandr Panas said at a conference on the integration of Ukrainian corporations in the world's finance system in Kiev.
