KIEV, Sept. 4 - Skhidny Mining (Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region) produced 421 tons of uranium concentrate in H1, which is 0.2% up year-over-year (420 tons), the Atomnyk Ukrayiny newspaper says, referring to a report acting director of Skhidny Mining, Oleksandr Sorokin, made at a meeting of the company's workers.
He said that in the first half of 2013 uranium ore production came to 473,000 tons, sulphuric acid production totaled 57,600 tons, and the company carried out work and provided services worth UAH 584 million.
