KIEV, Aug. 30 - The signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement will increase investments by U.S. companies in Ukraine, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt said.

"The signing of the Association Agreement will be an extremely important factor, which will influence U.S. companies, and business will start to invest in Ukraine: This will be a good signal for business," the diplomat said during a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on Friday, according to the Ukrainian government's press service.
