BRUSSELS, Aug. 28 – The Ukrainian authorities are exerting every effort to make possible the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union this autumn at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Kliuyev said in Brussels on Tuesday after a meeting with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule.

In this regard, Kliuyev dwelt on the work that had been done in Ukraine.

"Today, we have discussed in a constructive manner many issues of the European integration of Ukraine and the summit in Vilnius. We are confident that the agreements between the EU and Ukraine reached during the February summit will be fulfilled," the NSDC secretary said.
