KIEV, Nov. 10 ??“ President Viktor Yushchenko on Thursday criticized the government??™s decision earlier this year to lift import duties on gasoline and diesel fuel that had apparently badly affected domestic oil refining sector.

The criticism targets former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who had to struggle to cope with a sweeping gasoline crisis in May, and indicates that the new government may be considering reversing the situation.
