KIEV, Aug. 23 - Power generation by all plants run by National Nuclear Generating Company EnergoAtom fell by 7.1% or by 3.731 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) in January-July, to 48.468 billion kWh, the company announced.

This was 0.3% above the target.

The reduction of electricity generation is mainly linked to the fact that reactors were idling on forced standby or under maintenance due to transmission restrictions.
