DONETSK, Aug. 22 – Privatization in the coal sector and the final reformation of the coal industrial market will be finished by late 2014, President Viktor Yanukovych said.
"Everything has to be done under the full control of labor collectives and the trade unions. I'd like to emphasize that no coal mine can be closed unjustifiably. The retaining of the existing fund of promising operating coalmines is a top-priority vector of state policy," the head of state said at the All-Ukrainian Meeting on the occasion of Miner Day in Donetsk.

Yanukovych also said that the task of the state in the development of coal industry is the interconnection of the operations of inefficient companies, the creation of new modern production facilities, and the construction of new mines.
