KIEV, Aug. 19 – Russia does not have any remarks on the safety of Ukrainian foodstuff, Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk said after talks on the supplies of confectionary in Moscow on August 16.
"Today Russia does not have remarks regarding safety of foodstuff. I'm sure that in the near term a decision on confectionary products will be made," said Prysiazhniuk.
He said that a protocol foreseeing the creation of a Russian-Ukrainian commission that will work to harmonize the two countries' consumer protection and labeling requirements was signed during the talks.
