KIEV, Aug. 16 – The debts of municipal heat and power enterprises for natural gas supplied by Naftogaz Ukrayiny as of August 10 exceeded UAH 17.4 billion, the state holding reported.

The press service said that the debts of heat supply companies amount to some UAH 8 billion for gas supplied in 2013.

"The large debts of municipal heat and power enterprises influence the financial state of the company and hinder payments being made for imported natural gas on time," the holding said.
