KIEV, Aug. 13 - Ukraine increased electricity exports by 10.9% year-on-year in January-July, to 5.899 billion kilowatt-hours, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.
Electricity exports from the Burshtyn Energy Island to Hungary, Slovakia and Romania rose by17.2% or by 379.6 million kWh, to 2.586 billion kWh. Exports to Poland totaled 571.6 million kWh, 8.5% or 44.7 million kWh more year-on-year.
