KIEV, Aug. 13 - Ukraine's integrated power grids decreased electricity output by 3.4% or 3.911 billion kilowatt-hours year-over-year in January-July, to 112.093 billion kilowatt-hours, an Energy and Coal Industry Ministry source told Interfax-Ukraine.
Nuclear power plants cut electricity output by 7.2%, to 48.34 billion kWh.
Zaporizhia nuclear power plant saw a fall of 9.1% in electricity generation, to 22.161 billion kWh, Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear power plants decreased output by 6%, to 8.785 billion kWh, Rivne nuclear power plant cut production by 6.2%, to 8.76 billion kWh, and Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant saw a 4.1% decrease, to 8.634 billion kWh over the period under review.
