KIEV, Aug. 9 – In the next three or four years QR codes will be placed on packages of 30-40% of Ukrainian products, OJSC Ukrplastic Board Chairperson Iryna Miroshnyk has said.

"Package producers point at the growth in the interest in QR codes. I'm sure that in the coming three or four years the usage of QR codes on packages in Ukraine will reach 30-40%," she told Interfax-Ukraine.

Miroshnyk said that today there are few producers in Ukraine who want to place a QR code on their packages, although "the QR code is an effective instrument of communication with consumers, and marketing specialists will soon appreciate its advantages."
