KIEV, Aug. 6 – Shareholders in Ukrsotsbank shareholders at a general meeting on August 5 have approved a merger with UniCredit Bank (UniCredit Group).

"The shareholders have approved a strategic decision to allow public joint-stock company UniCredit Bank to merge with public joint-stock company Ukrsotsbank, which will be conducted via the reorganization of UniCredit Bank… The conditions of the agreement on the merger, which was signed by Ukrsotsbank and UniCredit Bank at once after the meeting, were approved," reads the Ukrsotsbank report.
