KIEV, Aug. 2 - Kiev Regional State Administration has appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers asking it to provide state guarantees of UAH 3.3 billion to raise funds for the implementation of two commercial projects as part of the State Economic Stimulation Program, the director of the department for economic development and trade, Volodymyr Horbyk, has said.

He said this concerns a project of a company with foreign investment, Euro Finance Ltd., to build Bila Tserkva rolled steel mill with a capacity of 850,000 tons of steel products per year on the territory of Shkarivka village council in Bila Tserkva district. The total cost of the project is nearly UAH 2.2 billion and it foresees the creation of up to 5,000 new jobs.
