KIEV, Aug. 1 - Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council on August 20 will make a final decision on the issue of finalizing a production sharing agreement with U.S. oil company Chevron for the Oleska deposit (Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions), Volodymyr Ihnaschenko, adviser to the minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, told reporters on Thursday.

"Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council at a meeting on August 20 will make a final decision. Prior to that, the issue had been preliminarily reviewed. We're looking at the situation with cautious optimism," he said.
