KIEV, Nov. 8 - The government plans to sell five licenses for crude oil and natural gas extraction at an auction on Dec. 4, Environment Minister Pavlo Ihnatenko said Tuesday.

The government expects that foreign and domestic companies will bid at the auction, which will be handled by the Environment Protection Ministry, Ihnatenko said without disclosing the names of the fields.
