KIEV, July 25 – The first trials of the new Korsar anti-tank missile system have been conducted at a firing range near Kiev, Segodnya newspaper reported.
"It is intended to hit stationary and moving armored targets with all kinds and types of armor - tanks, armored vehicles, high-speed landing craft, as well as small targets – pillboxes, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles," General Designer of Luch Design Bureau Oleh Korostelev said.
The range of the new anti-tank system is 2.5 kilometers, or double that of a grenade launcher, and the missile is laser-guided.
