KIEV, July 26 – The International Monetary Fund is preparing to hold annual consultations with Ukraine under Article IV of the IMF's Articles of Agreement (obligations regarding exchange arrangements), according to William Murray, a deputy spokesman for the IMF External Relations Department.
"That mission is expected to happen sometime in the autumn. I don't have the precise date to offer on that," he said during a press briefing on Thursday at the fund's headquarters in Washington, the transcript of which was posted on the organization's Web site on Friday.
According to him, the IMF's Executive Board may consider this matter around November.
