KIEV, July 25 - Traffic will be temporarily restricted in downtown Kiev on the weekend from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. because of events to mark the 1,025th anniversary of the Christianization of Kievan Rus, the public relations department of the Kiev police reported.

According to the Kiev state traffic police, on Saturday traffic will be restricted along Triokhsviatytelska Street. The route on Lavrska Street and Hrushevskoho Street will be closed to traffic as well. In addition, the traffic police said there might be other possible traffic restrictions, which will be announced later.
