KIEV, July 24 - Wheat exports from Ukraine in the 2013/2014 marketing year (MY) are to grow by 14.3%, to 8 million tons amid a 29.7% rise in the total yield, to 20.5 million tons.

These figures were announced by the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry in its presentation prepared for journalists this week.

According to the ministry, due to a 14.8% increase in the harvest of maize to 24 million tons, the export of this crop is to grow by 3.7%, to 14 million tons.
